Abstract:
A first authentication means (101) of an authentication system (S) performs authentication on the basis of a first authentication method. When the authentication by the first authentication method is successful, a recording means (102) records an authenticated user in association with the location of that user in a storage means. A second authentication means (103) performs authentication on the basis of a second authentication method. A restriction means (104) restricts authentication by the second authentication method from succeeding when a user to be authenticated by the second authentication method and the location of that user to be authenticated are not associated in the storage means (100).
