Abstract:
Provided are: an authentication system that helps prevent impersonation (replay attacks) due to leakage of authentication query data in a biometric authentication system; and a corresponding authentication server device, authentication method, and program. An authentication system is provided that comprises: an authentication client device having a temporary conversion unit that receives a feature amount for receiving authentication and that converts the feature amount to authentication query data using a temporary conversion parameter; and an authentication server device having a registered feature amount data holding unit that holds registered feature amount data generated in response to
reception of a feature amount for registration in a system, and a matching unit that performs matching on the basis of registered feature amount data and the authentication query data.
