Abstract:
An authorization method and apparatus (700, 800) for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The method comprises: after determining that the type of a terminal is the UAV (301), a communication device sends authorization information of the terminal to an authorization server (302), so that the authorization server can perform authorization on the terminal according to the authorization information of the terminal (303) and sends response information to the communication device (304), thereby achieving the authorization of the terminal by the authorization server. Moreover, the UAV is allowed to fly only after the authorization of the terminal succeeds. Therefore, the safety of unmanned aerial vehicle flight can be improved.
