Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of accurately determining whether a liquid level height of a liquid is abnormal, when dispensing the liquid by means of a dispensing probe. An automated analysis device according to the present invention sets a normal range and an abnormal range above and below a liquid level height detected immediately previously, and if the liquid level height is detected in the normal range, the liquid level height is deemed to be normal, and if the liquid level is detected in the abnormal range, the liquid level height is deemed to be abnormal. Even if the liquid surface is detected above or below the range with variability added to the liquid surface height detected immediately previously, the liquid surface is deemed to be normal under certain conditions (see fig. 3).
