Abstract:
An automated conveyance system (100) according to the present invention comprises a merchandise rack (30) mounted on an automated conveyance robot (10). The lengthwise direction of the plan-view shape of shelves forming the merchandise rack (30) matches the front-back direction of the automated conveyance robot (10), whereby the crosswise direction of said plan-view shape matches the widthwise direction of a conveyance path. Stopper mechanisms (40) that are provided on the front surface side of the merchandise rack (30) and are capable of assuming a restricting state, in which forward projection of merchandise (5) from the shelves forming the merchandise rack (30) is restricted, and a released state, in which said restriction is released, are also included. The stopper mechanisms (40) have operating parts (41) that protrude forward from the front surface of the merchandise rack (30). When these operating parts (41) contact receiving plates (69) on a merchandise-receiving-opening side of second shelves (60) and are pushed backward with respect to the merchandise rack (30), the stopper mechanisms (40) switch from the restricting state to the released state.
