Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an automated guided vehicle and a method for controlling movement of the automated guided vehicle. The method for controlling the movement of the automated guided vehicle to a facility, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: obtaining sensing data for an optical signal transmitted from the facility; calculating a direction of the facility on the basis of the sensing data; obtaining distance data from the automated guided vehicle to the facility by referring to the direction of the facility; calculating a relative location of the facility to the automated guided vehicle on the basis of the direction of the facility and the distance data; and controlling at least one of a movement direction, a movement distance, and a movement speed of the automated guided vehicle according to the relative location of the facility.
