Abstract:
An automated guided vehicle (AGV) robot (100) for lifting and transporting a motor vehicle or automobile from one place to another, is guided by a navigation device, controlled by an electronic control system and protected from collision by a collision prevention device. The AGV robot comprises a platform (1) for hoisting the automobile to be transported and a frame (101) for housing various electric and mechanic components. The AGV robot is equipped with a clamping device (4) that can extend and retract to push the automobile onto and off the platform.
