Abstract:
Provided is an automated transaction device which does not cause a user to be aware of the presence of a display which is required for a card transaction. When a card insertion detection unit (2) detects that a card has been inserted, a display control unit (6) causes a midair display (7) to appear in midair, and displays a transaction procedure for the card transaction. When a customer carries out an operation according to said transaction procedure, a card transaction processing unit (4) carries out a card transaction process, and when the card transaction process is finished, the midair display (7) is switched to a non-display mode. When a portable terminal detection unit (3) detects a portable terminal and reads in transaction content data which has previously been inputted into the portable terminal, a portable terminal transaction processing unit (5) carries out a portable terminal transaction process according to the transaction content without the midair display (7) appearing in midair.
