Abstract:
Provided is an automated transaction device, comprising: a medium input aperture which accepts an input of a medium from a customer; an assessment unit which assesses whether the inputted medium is counterfeit; and a notification unit which, if the assessment unit assesses that the inputted medium is counterfeit, notifies a specific subject to be notified which is selected from among a plurality of the subjects to be notified.
