Abstract:
An automatic colony picking instrument and a picking method therefor. The automatic colony picking instrument comprises a workbench, wherein the workbench is rotationally connected to a rotating disk, which is configured to be in a disk shape, and a power member, which is used for driving the rotating disk to rotate around a circumferential direction of the rotating disk; several picking needles are uniformly distributed on the rotating disk at intervals in the circumferential direction of the rotating disk; a picking station, an inoculating station and a cleaning station are sequentially arranged on the workbench in a movement direction of the rotating disk; the cleaning station comprises a cleaning mechanism used for cleaning the picking needles, a heating mechanism used for heating the picking needles, and a cooling mechanism used for cooling the picking needles; a picking-station driving member and an inoculating-station driving member, which respectively correspond to the picking station and the inoculating station, are arranged on the workbench; and picking-needle automatic resetting mechanisms, which correspond to the picking needles on a one-to-one basis, are further fixedly arranged on the rotating disk.
