Provided is an automatic deposit vault system for a friction roller, comprising a roller storing device (2), a roller conveying rail (3), a roller conveying platform (4) and a positioning device (5), wherein the roller storing device (2) comprises a roller storing main body (20) which can move rotatably, a first clamping member (213) being provided at one end of the roller storing main body (20) and a second clamping member (211) being provided at the other end, and the friction roller (1) being clamping between the two; and the roller conveying platform (4) comprises a sliding seat (401) and a roller placement platform (402), a transmission device (406) being provided between the roller conveying rail (3) and the sliding seat (401). The automatic deposit vault system for a friction roller can realize the function of automatic storing and taking out a friction roller so that the efficiency of storing and taking out is improved, the manpower is saved, and the production and the maintenance costs are lowered. Further provided is an automatic method for storing and taking out a friction roller.
