Abstract:
The present invention relates to an operating method that calculates the amount of raw materials and materials to be thrown into the furnace during the melting period so as to optimize casting at once in melting furnaces. The unbalanced use of raw materials and materials used in the melting section is reduced, time is saved and costs are reduced with the help of the present invention.

CLAIMS - Automatic dosing method in melting furnaces of the present invention characterized by comprising of;user adding interface where user registration is created by entering user information, formula updating interface, where the mine is selected from the casting detail button and the 'bring the desired casting' button is pressed, where the material per ton calculation is followed, the selected material is selected, the quantity selection and the place to be poured are selected, part transfer interface where the minimum and maximum values are transferred to the calculation screen by entering the number of the part to be poured, material value transfer interface where the average of the last three analysis reports is transferred to the calculation screen so as to operate with current data, analysis transfer interface, where the input quality control analysis results of the materials are included and the analysis values transferred to the system are controlled with the help of the operator, casting calculation interface, where the part number of the part to be poured is selected, the melting amount is entered and the calculating button is clicked, and then the composition is displayed in the system and the furnace feed is made according to this composition. - Automatic dosing method in melting furnaces according to claim 1, characterized in that; it can use other software languages, database, graphic display, system architecture, system query according to user request or need. - Automatic dosing method in melting furnaces according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that; in addition to beingused for a single feeding unit, it can be used for multiple feeding units positioned side by side.
Description:
AUTOMATIC DOSING METHOD IN MELTING FURNACES

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an operating method that calculates the amount of raw materials and materials to be thrown into the furnace during the melting period so as to optimize casting at once in melting furnaces.

The unbalanced use of raw materials and materials used in the melting section is reduced, time is saved and costs are reduced with the help of the present invention.

Prior Art

Today, raw materials must be loaded into the furnace so as to carry out the melting process in the foundry. Furnace loading is prepared according to certain compositions and customer requests. The analysis is taken after loading the furnace and the ranges of the composition values are checked. In case the raw materials and materials are in the appropriate range according to the analysis results, the casting process is performed, and if the raw materials and materials are in the unsuitable range, the missing raw materials and materials are added and analysed again. In this process, the process repeats itself until the analysis result is appropriate. In other words, manual raw materials and materials are fed to these furnaces. The raw materials and materials fed to the furnace are followed by the form and the prepared composition depends on the experience of the personnel. In the document with the application number 2022/009490, which is related to the subject in the art, an automation loading system for melting furnaces used for aluminum production and aluminum casting processes comprising of a charging unit that provides the transfer of the materials to be loaded into the furnace, carries out the tonnage measurements of the material loaded into the furnace through the load cell it contains, and transmits the measurement results, interface screen where the base loading tonnage and the next loading tonnage are entered and the entered values are transmitted, processor which calculates the operating time of the furnace as a result of the values it receives, takes the measurement results from the charging unit and the interface screen; if the calculated time is greater than zero, enables the burners in the furnace to work for the specified time, if the calculated time is less than zero, informs the user that the desired level of loading has not been done and that the loading has not been completed, from the interface screen, and provides an alarm to inform the user by measuring the inside temperature of the furnace by processing the data received from the temperature sensor, is disclosed. Above-mentioned invention is a system used for automatic adjustment of the internal temperature of the furnaces used in casting, no innovation in dosing is mentioned and is not related to our invention.

Manual raw material and material feeding to the melting furnaces in the current applications, as well as in the document mentioned above, is the manual feeding of the raw material and material quantities prepared according to the currently measured values to the melting furnaces; raw material and material quantities are at the discretion of the personnel regarding manual raw material and material feeding. Moreover, since this work is performed manually, the traceability of the melt created for casting cannot be ensured and this makes the traceability for the poured parts difficult. As mentioned above, currently used manual feeding methods cause unbalanced use of raw materials and materials and do not provide an ergonomic and practical use due to their high cost.

Description of the Invention

The inventive automatic dosing method in melting furnaces comprises of the following;

User adding interface where user registration is created by entering user information,

Formula updating interface, where the mine is selected from the casting detail button and the 'bring the desired casting' button is pressed, where the material per ton calculation is followed, the selected material is selected, the quantity selection and the place to be poured are selected.

Part transfer interface where the minimum and maximum values are transferred to the calculation screen by entering the number of the part to be poured.

Material value transfer interface where the average of the last three analysis reports is transferred to the calculation screen so as to operate with current data,

Analysis transfer interface, where the input quality control analysis results of the materials are included and the analysis values transferred to the system are controlled with the help of the operator, Casting calculation interface, where the part number of the part to be poured is selected, the melting amount is entered and the calculating button is clicked, and then the composition is displayed in the system and the furnace feed is made according to this composition.

Instead of the existing manual feeding system, the compositions created with the material amounts calculated according to the melt values to be measured are automatically weighed and transferred to the melting furnaces by means of transmission organs in the inventive automatic dosing method in the melting furnaces.

C# software language is used as the software program, oracle as the database, devexpress as the graphic display, and entityfromework as the system architecture in the inventive automatic dosing method in the melting furnaces. LinQ queries are used in system queries. Datasets are used for displaying and filtering data.

Other software languages, database, graphic display, system architecture, system query can be used according to user request or need in the inventive automatic dosing method in the melting furnaces.

The inventive automatic dosing method in melting furnaces can be used for multiple feeding units positioned side by side in addition to being used for a single feeding unit.

Energy savings due to labour and waste are provided in the field with the help of the inventive automatic dosing method in melting furnaces, possible work accidents caused by manual feeding are prevented, unbalanced raw material and material feeding is prevented and cost reduction is achieved, sectoral added value is created by leading the sector and increasing the sector's waste and energy savings, as well as, environmental improvements are ensured by preventing possible melt wastes due to unbalanced raw material and material feeding.
