Abstract:
An automatic driving device 1, which determines the driving behavior of a vehicle on the basis of a potential field found during a prescribed prediction period, comprises: a body information acquisition unit 142 which acquires speed information of bodies surrounding the vehicle; a potential generation unit 145 which generates a potential that is extended in the direction of motion from an object corresponding to a body, in accordance with movement speed of the body and the prediction period; and a risk assessment unit 146 which assesses the risk of collision during the prediction period of the vehicle relative to the object for which the potential has been generated.
