Abstract:
In an automatic tape loading system according to the present invention, a cover tape is peeled off a base tape of a carrier tape inserted into a tape feeder, enabling removal of components held on the base tape, and the peeled-off cover tape is directed to a disposal position. The automatic tape loading system comprises: a peeling device for peeling off the cover tape at a tape distal end of the carrier tape, in which the joined-together base tape and cover tape have flush tape end surfaces; a grabbing device for grabbing and moving the peeled-off cover tape to a prescribed position; a coupling device for coupling the tape distal end of the cover tape, after the latter has been moved to the prescribed position, to a temporary tape that directs the cover tape to the disposal position; and a tape conveyor device that conveys the temporary tape to which the distal end of the cover tape has been coupled, thereby directing the cover tape to the disposal position.
