Abstract:
An automatic train operation assistance device (30) comprises a data extraction unit (31) which acquires, from a data collection device (20) which collects instrument data on a train (10), operation data including operation of the train (10) and occupancy of each car of the train (10), a feature amount extraction unit (33) which uses the operation data to extract, as a feature amount, operation data per section between stations including a travel time of the train (10) from a first station to a second station and a time of stop of the train (10) at the first station or the second station, and an operation prediction unit (36) which uses the feature amount to carry out machine learning to thereby build a prediction model, and uses the prediction model and a current feature amount to predict a future operation situation of the train (10) including a future position of the train (10).
