Abstract:
[Problem] To propose: a highly reliable automatic transaction device in which an illegal transaction, etc., can be prevented; and a control method for the automatic transaction device. [Solution] This automatic transaction device is provided with: multiple modules that execute respective processes required in a dispensing transaction; an overall-control unit that controls the modules; and a security control unit. The security control unit holds in advance a first list, in which content pieces of signals to be exchanged between the overall-control unit and the respective modules at the time of a normal dispensing transaction are recorded in the order in which the exchange is to be performed, sequentially records, in a second list, content pieces of signals exchanged between the overall-control unit and the respective modules at the time of an actual dispensing transaction, in the order in which the exchange has been performed, and issues, when any of the content pieces in the first list and the corresponding content piece in the second list match, a signature for permitting an operation that is to be performed by the corresponding module, and the module executes the corresponding operation when the security control unit issues the signature.
