Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an automatic transaction device capable of solving a problem caused by banknotes being horizontally set in a customer service section. [Solution] Provided is an automatic transaction device comprising: a customer service section for at least receiving insertion of deposited banknotes or delivering dispensed banknotes; a shutter movable so as to open and close an opening section of the customer service section; a bill press for pressing the banknotes inserted into the customer service section in a separation direction; a remainder detection sensor for detecting remaining banknotes in the customer service section; and a control unit for performing control such that after opening the shutter and receiving insertion of the banknotes or delivering the banknotes, the bill press is operated, a banknote set horizontally at a position that cannot be detected by the remainder detection sensor is detected, and a notification indicating that there is a remaining banknote is issued.
