Abstract:
An automatic transmission (1) provided with a speed reduction planetary gear (DP) and a hydraulic clutch (C-1), wherein: the hydraulic clutch (C-1) includes a clutch drum (22), a clutch hub (91), first and second frictional engagement plates (21a, 21b), a piston (23) and an engagement oil chamber partitioning member (24); the clutch hub (91) comprises a ring gear (R1) and a support member (95) that rotates integrally with the ring gear (R1); the piston (23) is movably supported by the clutch hub (91); and the piston (23) and the support member (95) partition a cancellation oil chamber (27) for canceling the centrifugal hydraulic pressure in an engagement oil chamber (26).
