Abstract:
An automatic transmission (10) is provided with: an input shaft (12); an output unit (output shaft (13)) that is arranged coaxially with the input shaft and that is connected to a differential mechanism; double pinion-type first and second planetary gear sets (PG1, PG2); single pinion-type third and fourth planetary gear sets (PG3, PG4); first to third clutches (CLI-CL3) that cause disengagement between predetermined rotation elements of the first to fourth planetary gear sets; and first and second brakes (BR1, BR2) that disengage each of a second carrier (C2), a first carrier (C1), and a transmission case (11). The gear position of the automatic transmission when the reduction ratio is one is set as a sixth speed.
