Abstract:
If the vehicle is in a non-driving state and a non-shifting state, in which a gear stage is maintained, and the oil temperature is greater than a prescribed temperature, then a control unit (30) of this automatic transmission (1) does not supply hydraulic pressure, such that friction engagement elements other than the friction engagement elements presently engaged to maintain the gear stage assume a released state; if the vehicle is in a non-driving state and a non-shifting state, in which a gear stage is maintained, and the oil temperature is less than or equal to the prescribed temperature, then the control unit (30) supplies a hydraulic pressure such that the friction engagement elements other than the friction engagement elements presently engaged to maintain the gear stage assume a slip state. By this means, it is possible to prevent hindrances to improving fuel efficiency of the vehicle and to enable warm-up operation.
