Abstract:
[Problem] To acquire information for reliable determination of completion of a predetermined event relating to movement of a product such as insertion of the product into a bucket. [Solution] This automatic vending machine 1 is provided with a box-shaped cabinet 4 having in an interior thereof a plurality of vertically spaced-apart shelves 4f, a product retrieval opening 4d provided below a front panel 4b of the cabinet 4, a product-conveying device 5 that conveys forward a product P provided on each shelf 4f of the cabinet 4 and placed on the product-conveying device 5, and a bucket 6 that is supported so as to be movable in the vertical direction between the front panel 4b and the plurality of shelves 4f and that receives the product P conveyed by the product-conveying device 5. The bucket 6 having received the product P is moved to the product retrieval opening 4d. This automatic vending machine 1 includes an imaging unit 10 that is provided to the bucket 6 and that captures an image including a placement surface 6a on which the product P received in the bucket 6 is placed.
