Abstract:
[Problem] To reliably assess whether a prescribed event relating to the movement of a product, such as the acceptance of the product into a bucket, has completed. [Solution] An automatic vending machine 1 is provided with a product delivery device 5 for delivering forward a product P placed on the automatic vending machine 1, a bucket movement device 7 for vertically moving a bucket 6 for accepting the product P delivered from the product delivery device 5, and a control unit 8. This automatic vending machine 1 includes an imaging unit 10 that is provided to the bucket 6 and captures an image including a placement surface 6a in the bucket 6 on which the accepted product P is placed. The control unit 8 has a completion assessment unit 83 for assessing, on the basis of a comparison result of data from two images captured by the imaging unit 10 at timings before and after a predetermined prescribed event among a plurality of events related to the movement of the product P, whether the prescribed event has completed.
