Abstract:

Provided is an automatic water faucet apparatus which is advantageous for maintaining the hygiene of hot water stored in a hot water storage tank.　The automatic water faucet apparatus 32A comprises a water faucet 34, a detection unit 36, a hot water storage tank 38, a first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit 40, a display unit 42 and a control unit 44. The hot water storage tank 38 is configured to warm water fed to a feed water passage 48 by means of a warming heater not shown in the drawings and store the warmed water as hot water, and the hot water storage tank 38 is arranged in the inside of the water faucet 34 and is configured to warm water fed to a second feed water passage 48B. The first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit 40 can irradiate the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank 38 with an ultraviolet ray to disinfect (sterilize) the hot water. The first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit 40 is composed of an ultraviolet ray lamp arranged in the inside of the hot water storage tank 38, and the irradiation of the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank 38 with an ultraviolet ray and the stop of the irradiation are controlled by the control unit 44.
