Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an automatic water replenishing system for a heat pump unit and a water replenishing method therefor. The automatic water replenishing system comprises a water flow measurement device, a water replenishing valve, a locking device and a main controller. The water flow measurement device is configured to monitor the water flow in a water flow pipeline of the heat pump unit to determine whether there is a need to replenish water to the water flow pipeline, and to send a water replenishing signal if there is a need to replenish water to the water flow pipeline. The main controller is configured to open, according to the water replenishing signal sent by the water flow measurement device, the water replenishing valve to replenish water to the heat pump unit. After water replenishment has been repeatedly performed a predetermined number of times within a predetermined time period, if the water flow measurement device still determines that there is a need to replenish water to the water flow pipeline, the main controller determines the presence of a leak in the heat pump unit, and the locking device locks the whole heat pump unit.
