An automobile brake assembly quality tracing method, comprising: step S10, preparing brake assembly part materials; S20, assembling a brake assembly, involving: starting a brake assembly semi-automatic production line so as to assemble the brake assembly, and by means of PLC technology, automatically collecting assembly parameters during the process of assembling the brake assembly and material batch data transferred by a barcode scanning gun, establishing an association relationship between a material batch, the assembly parameters and the brake assembly according to a pallet RFID, and finally storing the data in a relational database; S30, forward tracing the brake assembly; and S40, reversely tracing the brake assembly. The automatic collection of assembly process data and the automatic establishment of a material batch association relationship are realized, the workload of manual data input by a production line worker is reduced, data input errors are prevented, and the accuracy of data is ensured, thereby clarifying quality issues, reducing the scope of recalls, and achieving the effect of further reducing the repair cost of an enterprise.
