Abstract:

An automobile transmitting a torque from an engine (7) through a clutch (8) to a speed change gear (50) in which a clutch position learning means (205) learns the position of the clutch (8) when the differentiated value of engine rotation speed. is within a specified range, a clutch transmission torque learning means (206) learns the transmission torque of the clutch (8) and a clutch characteristics correcting means (207) corrects clutch characteristics based on a learnt value of clutch position and a learnt value of clutch transmission torque. Relation between the clutch position and the clutch transmission torque can be grasped without fixing a sensor for detecting the pavement condition, the weight of a vehicle, or the like, and thereby the clutch characteristics can be corrected while avoiding cost increase.
