Abstract:
An automobile vehicle body and an automobile vehicle body manufacturing method wherein a metal joint (50) is divided into an upper portion joint (51, 52) and a lower portion joint (53). The upper portion joint (51, 52) is provided with an upper wall fitted on a side portion member (27), a vehicle width direction inner wall, and a vehicle width direction outer wall. The lower portion joint (53) is provided with a lower wall joined to a lower surface and an outer side surface of a vehicle body floor (11) and with a vehicle width direction outer wall. The vehicle width direction outer wall of the upper portion joint (51) and the vehicle width direction outer wall of the lower portion joint (53) are fastened with a first bolt (54), and the vehicle width direction inner wall of the upper portion joint (51, 52) is fastened to an inner side surface of the side portion member (27) with a second bolt (56), whereby not only a roll bar (34) can be strongly connected to the side portion member (27) but also the roll bar (34) can be easily attached or detached with respect to the side portion member (27).
