Abstract:
The present disclosure has a purpose of reducing a processing load and enable autonomous movement such as autonomous travel and the like. For that purpose, the present disclosure provides an autonomous movement control device that controls a movement of an autonomous moving body that is capable of moving autonomously, the autonomous movement control device comprising: a self-position estimation unit that estimates, by pattern matching data that relates to an image that is obtained by imaging quasi-periodic tiles that are composed of a plurality of types of tile shapes and data that has a coordinate system that corresponds to the quasi-periodic tiles, a self-position and a traveling direction of the autonomous moving body on the quasi-periodic tiles; and a control unit that controls a movement of the autonomous moving body, on the basis of the self-position and the traveling direction of the autonomous moving body that were estimated by the self-position estimation unit, and a movement route of the autonomous moving body that is set in advance.
