Abstract:
This autonomous robot work machine (1) comprises a work main body (2), a cover (4), and a connecting structure unit (12) that connects the work main body and the cover. The connecting structure unit comprises a main body connecting part (16), attached to the work main body, and a cover connecting part (14), attached to the cover. When the cover is lifted, a shaft section (14a) of the cover connecting part slides upward relative to a head section (16c) of the main body connecting part, and as a result thereof, the cover moves upward relative to the work main body. When the robot work machine collides with an obstacle, a middle section (16b) of the main body connecting part undergoes horizontal elastic deformation, and as a result thereof, the cover moves in a substantially horizontal direction relative to the work main body section.
