Abstract:
The present invention provides an autonomous-travel-type lawn mower 1 provided with: a travel body 2 capable of unmanned travel using a travel device 4; at least one lawn mowing work unit 3 attached to the travel body 2; and, a body cover 1A for covering the upper surface and the peripheral surface of the travel body 2. The at least one lawn mowing work unit 3 is provided with: a mowing blade 17; a motor 15 for driving the mowing blade 17; at least one ground contact member 23 positioned within the front-rear width WB of the travel device 4 to prevent the mowing blade 17 from contacting the ground surface G; and, an adjustment mechanism 28 for allowing the lawn mowing work unit 3 to move vertically with respect to the travel body 2. The ground contact member 23 and the mowing blade 17 are positioned inside the body cover 1A.
