Abstract:
An autonomous underwater exploration system and method, a method for automatically launching an AUV, and a method for automatically recovering an AUV. The autonomous underwater exploration system comprises: AUVs (2) for performing autonomous underwater exploration according to allocated underwater exploration sub-tasks; and an unmanned surface vehicle support platform, comprising an unmanned surface vehicle (1) and a platform controller and a launch and recovery system carried on the unmanned surface vehicle (1). The launch and recovery system is used for correspondingly and automatically launching and recovering the AUVs (2) according to launch and recovery instructions of the platform controller. The launch and recovery system comprises: a winch (16), an underwater towed docking device (9), and a robotic arm (13). By means of the collaborative linkage of the configured robotic arm (13), winch (16), and underwater towed docking device (9), automatic launch and recovery of the AUVs (2) are realized, thereby effectively solving the technical problem of the launch and recovery of the AUVs (2) during operation.
