Abstract:
An azeotropic composition comprising cis-1,1,2,2,3,4-hexafluorocyclobutane and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol, isopropaneol, n-propanol, tert-butanol, cyclopentane, n-octane, isooctane, n-heptane and methylcyclohexane; and detergent, drying agent and blowing agent each comprising the same. The composition is reduced in the adverse effects on plastics, excellent in detergency, and reduced in ozonosphere depletion, thus serving as a chlorofluorocarbon substitute.
