Abstract:
A baby carrier (1) according to the present invention comprises: a seat part (11) on which the buttocks of an infant are to be placed; a first waist-worn belt part (14) which is to be extended leftward from the seat part (11) when worn by a user; and a second waist-worn belt part (15) which is to be extended rightward when worn by the user. The first waist-worn belt part (14) includes a first length-adjustment means (17) that is disposed in the vicinity on the side of the seat part (11). The second waist-worn belt part (15) includes a second length-adjustment means (18). The first length-adjustment means (17) has a first adjustment tool (20) with which a length-adjustment operation can be performed, and the second length-adjustment means (18) has a second adjustment tool (22) with which the length-adjustment operation can be performed. The first adjustment tool (20) and the second adjustment tool (22) are configured so as to be capable of performing the length-adjustment operation (adjustment of the level of fastening) individually on the first waist-worn belt part (14) and the second waist-worn belt part (15). The baby carrier (1) according to the present invention makes it possible to stably support an infant while reducing the burden on a user, and also enables easy operation to adjust the tightening level of a waist-worn belt.
