Abstract:

Provided is a back board mounting structure for a seat back (2) having: a pad (4); a trim cover (5) for covering the backrest-side surface of the pad (4); and a back board (6) for covering the rear surface side of the pad (4). The back board mounting structure has: a first folded-in section (5a1) located at the rear surface-side edge (5a) of the trim cover (5) and folded back to the pad (4) side; a first fastener (7a) mounted to the first folded-in section (5a1) so that first elements (7a2) will face the pad (4); a second folded-in section (6a1) located at the backrest surface-side edge (6a) of the back board (6) and folded back to the pad (4) side; and a second fastener (7b) mounted to the second folded-in section (6a1) so that second elements (7b2) will face the pad (4). The first fastener (7a) and the second fastener (7b) can be engaged with each other while the trim cover (5) is applied to the pad (4) from the backrest surface side thereof and while the back board (6) is applied to the pad (4) from the rear surface side thereof.
