Abstract:
A back gauge device for use in a sheet metal press is such that one of upper and lower tables is movable relative to the other, and a work is fabricated by metal molds mounted on the upper and lower tables. The back gauge device includes a link mechanism, and a stretch, to which a butt is mounted through the link mechanism and which is movable up and down and front and rear. Also, the back gauge device includes independently acting vertical drive mechanism, to which a stretch having a butt is mounted to freely swing in a vertical plane.
