Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of liquid crystal displays. Provided are a backlight circuit, an electronic device and a backlight adjustment method. The backlight circuit comprises: a backlight power supply chip (260); and an adjustable resistance circuit (270). The backlight power supply chip (260) comprises: a set pin (ISET) configured to set a reference current; an input pin (IN); and an output pin (OUT). One end of the adjustable resistance circuit (270) is connected to the set pin (ISET). The adjustable resistance circuit (270) further comprises a control end (C1) configured to receive a switching signal, and to switch, according to the switching signal, a resistance branch connected to the set pin (ISET) from a first resistance branch (272) to a second resistance branch (274). The backlight power supply chip (260) is configured to generate, on the basis of the reference current, a drive current according to a duty cycle of a PWN signal received by the input pin (IN). The drive current is outputted via the output pin (OUT). The invention uses different resistance branches to change a reference current of a backlight power supply, thereby realizing output of a drive current within a wide current value adjustment range, and enabling a backlight intensity to be adjusted to a lower level or a higher level.
