Abstract:
A backlight module (10) and a display apparatus. The backlight module (10) comprises a backplane (11), a light bar (18), a light guide plate (12), and an optical film group (14). The light bar (18) comprises a plurality of light sources (182) arranged facing a light entry surface of the light guide plate (12). A light exit surface (121) of the light guide plate (12) is adjacent to the light entry surface, the portion of the light exit surface (121) of the light guide plate (12) close to the light entry surface is provided with a step structure (122), and the heights of steps in the step structure (122) are gradually decreased in a first direction (X). The optical film group (14) comprises a plurality of optical films stacked on the side where the light exit surface (121) of the light guide plate (12) is located, and each optical film is fixed to a corresponding step in the step structure (122). The plurality of optical films comprise a first prism sheet (142), the first prism sheet (142) has a plurality of first prisms arranged side by side and extending in a direction perpendicular to the first direction (X), the edge of the first prism sheet (142) is provided with a notch groove (1421) for avoiding the step structure (122), and a notch wall of the notch groove (1421) of the first prism sheet (142) parallel to the first direction (X) forms a 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm gap (d) with the step structure (122).
