Abstract:
A backlight module (1a) and a display device (100). The backlight module (1a) comprises a light guide plate (12), a plurality of light-emitting elements (14) and a frame (16). The light guide plate (12) comprises a first side face (12S1), a second side face (12S2), and two third side faces (12S3). The first side face (12S1) and the second side face (12S2) are opposite each other, the two third side faces (12S3) are opposite to each other and are located between the first side face (12S1) and the second side face (12S2), and the two third side faces (12S3) are perpendicular to the first side face (12S1). The light-emitting elements (14) are arranged on the first side face (12S1), and light generated by the light-emitting elements (14) enters the light guide plate (12) through the first side face (12S1). The frame (16) covers the second side face (12S2) and the two third side faces (12S3), the frame (16) comprises an opening (OP) and at least one buffer portion (16a), the light-emitting elements (14) are arranged in the opening (OP), and the buffer portion (16a) is located on one side of the opening (OP) and is in contact with the light guide plate (12).
