Abstract:
A backlight module (100) and a display panel. The backlight module (100) comprises a back plate (10) and a widening member (20), wherein the widening member (20) is arranged on at least one side of an outer frame (12) away from an accommodating cavity (111) and is detachably connected to the outer frame (12). In this way, when dealing with a vehicle-mounted display screen with the same visual area size but different dimensions, the requirement of an overall dimension can be met by only replacing the widening member (20); and the outer frame (12) can be shared, and then a mold of the outer frame (12) is shared, thereby obviously reducing the number of mold openings of the backlight outer frame (12), and reducing the backlight cost.
