Abstract:
A backlight module comprises an LED lamp strip (10), a quantum dot package tube (20), a light guide plate (40), a back cover and a fixing bracket (30). The LED lamp strip (10) comprises a substrate (11) and a plurality of LED lamps (12) fixed on the substrate. The substrate (11) is fixed to the back cover. The fixing bracket (30) is connected with the substrate (11) or the back cover, and comprises a fixing part (31) for fixedly mounting the quantum dot package tube (20), and a support part (32) for bearing the light guide plate (40). The quantum dot package tube (20) is fixed at a position facing the LED lamps (12) through the fixing part (31), and a light incident surface (41) of the light guide plate (40) faces the quantum dot package tube (20). A liquid crystal display device is also disclosed. The backlight module can improve the color gamut of the liquid crystal display device using the backlight module.
