A backlight module rear cover (1), a backlight module, and a display module. The backlight module comprises a rear cover (1). The rear cover (1) comprises a bottom plate (2) and a side plate (3). The side plate (3) and the bottom plate (2) form a receiving cavity (11). A protrusion portion (4) protruding towards the inner side of the receiving cavity (11) is provided on an inner surface of the side plate (3). A cavity portion (5) is formed between the protrusion portion (4) and the bottom plate (2). The cavity portion (5) is used for receiving a backlight source (6) and fixing a light guide plate (7). The backlight module can combine a back panel, a middle plastic frame and a front frame of a display module of a traditional television set or the like into a whole. Key materials of the module or the display module are greatly reduced, and supply chains are reduced. Moreover, the material cost can be greatly reduced, and the cost is lower due to combination of a plurality of key materials. Due to the simplified structure of the rear cover (1), the assembly manpower can be greatly saved, the working time is shortened, and bad matching between materials can be eliminated, so the assembly accuracy is higher, and the whole production yield is greatly improved.
