Abstract:
A backlight unit including a connector comprises: a case (140) which includes an inner space (141) for receiving a light processing part (130) that receives at least one component (120) and includes a hollow light passage (131), and a side opening (142) through which the component (120) and the light processing part (130) can be inserted into the case; a light source part (150) disposed in the inner space (141) of the case (140); a first connector (160) electrically connected to the light source part (150); and a cover plate (170) which comprises a vertical plate (171) for sealing the side opening (142) of the case (140), and a first connector receiving part (172) horizontally extending so as to surround the first connector (160), wherein the bottom portion of the first connector receiving part (172) of the cover plate (170) is hermetically bonded to the inner surface of the case (140).
