A backlight module (10) and display device, wherein said backlight module (10) comprises a back panel (11), a plurality of backlight units (13) and a diffuser plate (15), said back panel (11) forms an accommodating groove (12); said backlight unit (13) comprises a main reflector plate (131), a light guide plate (132), a lamp source (133) and an auxiliary reflector plate (134) provided upon the reflecting surface of said main reflector plate (131); said light guide plate (132) comprises a light-emitting surface (135) and a groove (136) positioned in the middle of the light-emitting surface (135), wherein said lamp source (133) is provided within the groove (136), said auxiliary reflector plate (134) is fitted upon said light-emitting surface (135) and covering said groove (136), and the reflecting surface (1341) of said auxiliary reflector plate (134) faces towards said lamp source (133); said plurality of backlight units (13) are arranged at intervals on the bottom (121) of said accommodating groove (12), said diffuser plate (15) seals said accommodating groove (12) and is provided facing said light-emitting surface (135).
