The invention relates to a flat decorative material (11) for interior decoration, with perforations (12), particularly for the car industry, which can be lit up on the rear side (13) thereof by means of a lighting device (18) and lets some of the light of the lighting device (18) pass through from the rear side (13) of the decorative material (11) via the perforations (12) to the visible face (14) of the decorative material (11), in which a film (20) is stuck to the rear side (13) of the decorative material (11) and the performations (12) extend through the film (20) to the visible side (14) of the decorative material (11), the film (20) being an adhesive film that can be activated by an increase in temperature and/or pressure, said adhesive film being definitively stuck to the lighting device (18) by a temperature increase to a temperature T2 and/or a pressure increase to a pressure p2. The invention also relates to a method for the production thereof.
