Abstract:
A backpack-type air blower work machine is configured so that a volute case, which incorporates a centrifugal fan driven by an electric motor, is mounted in an upright position on a backpack frame, which is used while being carried on the back of a user by shoulder straps. A rechargeable battery pack connected to the electric motor is removably mounted to the backpack frame. The backpack-type air blower work machine is configured so that: the center of gravity of the backpack-type air blower work machine when the machine is viewed from the rear thereof is located below the rotation axis of the centrifugal fan; and the center of gravity of the backpack-type air blower work machine when the machine is viewed from a side thereof is located in front of the rear end of the volute case.
