Abstract:
Provided by the present application are a backscatter communication method and device, the method comprising: a transmitting device receiving a wakeup signal sent by a base station; the transmitting device determining a transmission start time of data to be transmitted according to the wakeup signal; the transmitting device performing scattering processing on an excitation signal transmitted by the base station according to a k-th bit value in the data to be transmitted during a k-th transmission time interval starting from the transmission start time, the scattering processing being scattering the excitation signal transmitted by the base station or not scattering the excitation signal, k=1,2,……n, and n being the number of bits contained in the data to be transmitted. The transmitting device of the present application may perform corresponding scattering processing on an excitation signal transmitted by a base station according to a bit value to be transmitted, so that a receiving device determines the corresponding bit value according to the energy of the received signal within a transmission time interval, thereby completing low power or zero power backscatter communication using the excitation signal transmitted by the base station. The method provided by the present embodiment improves the coverage capabilities of a network and may be applied to an Internet of Things, such as MTC, IoT, LTE-M, M2M, etc.
