Abstract:
Provided are a bactericide diffusion device having an excellent design and capable of stably diffusing a bactericide, and a bactericide diffusion method. The bactericide diffusion device (10) is provided with: a bactericide containing chlorine dioxide; a first container (130) which stores the bactericide and has a first opening; and a second container (100) which is a ceramic article and which stores the first container (130) and has a second opening. The first container (130) has: a first portion defining the first opening; a second portion located below the first portion and having a greater diameter than the first opening; and a third potion located below the second portion and having a greater diameter than the second portion. The second container (100) has: a main part (120) which stores the first container (130) and has the second opening; and a lid part (110) which is fitted to the second opening. The lid part (110) has holes (111) for diffusing chlorine dioxide.
