Abstract:
The bag-producing machine and the bag-producing method produce a bag. The bag is provided with a first body section and a first flap formed by folding a first sheet, and a second body section and a second flap formed by folding a second sheet. The first and second body sections face each other. The first and second flaps are located between the first and second body sections and face each other. An open edge is formed by the folded edge of the first sheet and the folded edge of the second sheet. The bag also comprises a locking implement, which is located between the first and second body sections and extends over the width of the first and second sheets. The bag also comprises an adhesive, which is located between the open edge and the locking implement and between the first and second flaps, extends over the width of the first and second sheets, and releasably bonds the first and second flaps to each other. Alternatively, the second sheet may comprise the second body section only, without being folded.
