Abstract:
This invention is about a bagel manufacturing machine working in a way similar to injection molding method and precisely gives out more than one product at once and its' characteristic is having; a body (8) composed of an engine protection wall (8.1), a dough cauldron wall (8.2) and a bottom wall (8.3), an engine (1) located inside the body (8), a reductor (2) connected to the engine (1) shaft, a first conical gear (3) located at the reductor (2) outlet shaft, a bevel gear (4) connected in a way to receive the rotational motion of the first conical gear (3), a middle shaft (5) located at the center of the bevel gear (4), at least one helix drive gear (6) beared into the shaft fixer (5.1) in a way to receive the rotational motion of the middle shaft (5), at least one dough driving helix (9) that turns around itself 360° as a result of and synchronized with the rotational motion of the helix drive gear (6), at least one bagel shaping mold (14) that can move forward- backward in a way to sit on the spring press part (9.2) of the dough driving helix (9), at least one pusher (15) fixed at the back of the bagel shaping mold (14) and enables this mold (14) to move forward-backward, a crank motion chamber (17) fixed in a way to enable the pushers (15) to move forward -backward, a crank gearwheel (18) located on the crank motion chamber's (17) shaft, at least one elastic tape (13) located at the top side of the bagel shaping mold (14) and enable the dough to be shaped in a bagel form, a bottom shaft drive gear (23) connected to the gears of the crank gearwheel (18), a bottom shaft (21) fixed at the core of the bottom shaft drive gear (23), at least one cylindrical gear (22) placed at the ends of the bottom shaft (21), a crank bearing cylinder (20) connected to the cylindrical gear and receives the rotational motion from the cylindrical gear (22) and a product line (25) that enables the bagel shaped dough to be transferred to the hot molasses covering system.

CLAIMS

1- The invention is about a bagel manufacturing machine and its' characteristic is having;

— a body (8) composed of an engine protection wall (8.1), a dough cauldron wall

(8.2) and a bottom wall (8.3),

— an engine (1) located inside the body (8),

— a reductor (2) connected to the engine (1) shaft,

— a first conical gear (3) located at the reductor (2) outlet shaft,

— a bevel gear (4) connected in a way to receive the rotational motion of the first conical gear (3),

— a middle shaft (5) located at the center of the bevel gear (4),

— at least one helix drive gear (6) beared into the shaft fixer (5.1) in a way to receive the rotational motion of the middle shaft (5),

— at least one dough driving helix (9) that turns around itself 360° as a result of and synchronized with the rotational motion of the helix drive gear (6),

— at least one bagel shaping mold (14) that can move forward-backward in a way to sit on the spring press part (9.2) of the dough driving helix (9),

— at least one pusher (15) fixed at the back of the bagel shaping mold (14) and enables this mold (14) to move forward-backward,

— a crank motion chamber (17) fixed in a way to enable the pushers (15) to move forward-backward,

— a crank gearwheel (18) located on the crank motion chamber's (17) shaft,

— at least one elastic tape (13) located at the top side of the bagel shaping mold

(14) and enable the dough to be shaped in a bagel form,

— a bottom shaft drive gear (23) connected to the gears of the crank gearwheel (18),

— a bottom shaft (21) fixed at the core of the bottom shaft drive gear (23),

— at least one cylindrical gear (22) placed at the ends of the bottom shaft (21),

— a crank bearing cylinder (20) connected to the cylindrical gear and receives the rotational motion from the cylindrical gear (22) and — a product line (25) that enables the bagel shaped dough to be transferred to the hot molasses covering system.

2- What's mentioned in Claim 1 is the bagel manufacturing machine and its' characteristic is having; a conveyor belt drive gear (7) that enables the motion of the product line (25).

3- What's mentioned in Claim 1 is the bagel manufacturing machine and its' characteristic is having; a third conical gear (19) that transmits torque to the mechanism that will enable the rotation of the crank gearwheel (18).

4- What's mentioned in Claim 1 is the bagel manufacturing machine and its' characteristic is having; a middle shaft (5) that has a second conical gear (5.2) connected to the third conical gear (19) at a 90° angle.

Description:
BAGEL MANUFACTURING MACHINE

Technological Area:

This invention is about a bagel manufacturing machine working in a way similar to injection molding method and precisely gives out more than one product at once.

Current Situation of the Technique:

In order to manufacture bagels in places like patisseries today, there have to be used more than one machines such as dough cutting and bagel hooping machines. For this reason, both producers have to buy separate machines by paying high cots and there occurs difficulties to place these machines within the shops with small areas. Besides, after cutting the dough in the cutting machine and taking it out from the chamber with vacuum, employees have to transfer the doughs to bagel hooping machine by hand so there happens unnecessary waste of time and labor. For the dough is taken out from the chamber with vacuum in today's systems, its' elasticity is lost and it becomes hard to shape it. Again, for there's no centering apparatus in bagel hooping machines, there can be problems in centering the dough correctly and for the hoop coming out of the machine won't be at equal level there can't be achieved a nice view by means of aesthetics. All these negative conditions cause the productivity to decrease as a result the production costs get higher and so the competitivity of the manufactured product.

In the utility model application numbered TR201005389, the "Bagel manufacturing machine" is described. The invention is about a bagel manufacturing machine that enables zero-touch mass production of bagels of high consuming volumes, at standard sizes and quality, fulfills all steps from shaping to cooking the dough and is composed of dough shaping, molasses covering and sesame covering sections. In the patent application numbered TR201900873, the "Double twist, braid and normal Bagel manufacturing machine" is described. The main purpose of the invention is giving braid shape to the dough taken into the machine with the help of mechanical components, then hooping it by splicing its' ends. Another purpose of the invention is making the manufacturing with zero-touch.

The biggest disadvantages of the machines today and the inventions mentioned above are not being able to constitute a structure suitable for mass production, the waste of time when giving hoop form to the dough, needing cutting operation while taking the hoop form and giving out only one single product at a unit of time.

In conclusion, there's a need for a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, suitable for mass production, can give out more than one product at a unit of time, can achieve the same hoop form in every product with injection method and molding, doesn't need operations such as cutting and twisting and doesn't need frequent maintenance.

Definition of Invention:

This invention is a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, suitable for mass production, can give out more than one product at a unit of time, can achieve the same hoop form in every product with injection method and molding, doesn't need operations such as cutting and twisting and doesn't need frequent maintenance.

The primary precedence of our invention is eliminating unnecessary processes in bagel machines. In our invention, the product enters as a shapeless dough and can be turned into hoop form in only a single process. This is enabled by the injection mold. In addition, it enables saving on product consumption with the cap mechanism at the end of the helixes. When the bagel injection mold sits into the helix slot, the dough begins to pour out and when it gets back pouring out stops. The pouring out and stopping of the dough at once is enabled by the spring press part that transmits the opening-closing motion to the cap mechanism.

With the crank shaft at the bottom part of our system subject to invention, the bagel shaping molds are involved in operation at the same time so more than one product gets out at a unit of time. Thanks to our invention, there's no need left for manpower and manufacturing can be controlled with zero-touch. This way, manufacturing can be more hygienic.

For the manufacturing in our system subject to invention, takes place in a similar way to the processes in injection mold machines, manufacturing is not paused. At the same time, the bagel dough is put through processes in an order and without waiting which makes our system to have a structure suitable for mass production.

As the parts composing the invention is able to be fixed onto each other easily, the invention is installed easily, hence its' assembly time is short which makes the cost low. In addition, the invention has a solid structure.

Description of Invention:

The invention has a third conical gear (19) that transmits torque to the mechanism that will enable the rotation of the crank gearwheel (18). The system subject to invention includes a middle shaft (5) that has a second conical gear (5.2) connected to the third conical gear (19) at a 90° angle. The bagel shaping mold (14) in the invention, includes a peak and a pit section forming a bagel shape. The product subject to invention, includes an elastic tape support (12) connected to the elastic tape (13) and the elastic tape reel (11). The system subject to invention, includes at least one bottom shaft bushing (24) connected in a way to enable the bottom shaft (21) to be beared. The invention includes at least one spring (26) that enables the forward-backward motion of the elastic tape reels (11) by means of the tensile force contained while the bagel shaping mold (14) leaves off the dough driving helix (9) slot.

The invention has a dough driving gear (9) that enables the dough to be transferred to the dough holding section (9.1) with 360° rotational motion, by means of the screws threaded on it. The dough driving helix (9) mentioned in the invention, includes a tip part (9.3) that enables the dough to be transferred to the elastic tapes (13) following the pressure of the bagel shaping mold (14) on the spring press part (9.2). The dough driving helix (9) in the invention, has a tip part (9.3) that includes a capped mechanism. The invention has at least one separator (10) that separates dough driving helixes (9) in a way to prevent the outgoing bagel doughs to stick to each other. In the system subject to invention, there's a crank bearing cylinder (20) that supports the rotation of the crank motion chamber (17) from the ends. The product subject to invention, has the elastic tapes (13) that are beared into the pit sections of the bagel shaping mold (14) along its' motion towards the dough driving helix (9). Detailed Description of Invention:

Basic parts composing the system subject to invention are; the engine (1), the reductor (2), the first conical gear (3), the bevel gear (4), the middle shaft (5), the helix drive gear (6), the conveyor belt drive gear (7), the body (8), the dough driving helix (9), the separator (10), the elastic tape reel (11), the elastic tape supports (12), the elastic tape (13), the bagel shaping mold (14), the pusher (15), the crank case (16), the crank motion chamber (17), the crank gearwheel (18), the third conical gear (19), the crank bearing cylinder (20), the bottom shaft (21), the cylinder gear (22), the bottom shaft drive gear (23), the bottom shaft bushing (24), the product line (25) and the spring (26).

The middle shaft (5) in the invention has the parts; the shaft fixer (5.1) and the second conical gear (5.2). The body is composed of the parts; engine protection wall (8.1), the dough cauldron wall (8.2) and the bottom wall (8.3). The dough driving helix (9) includes the parts; the dough holding section (9.1), the spring press section (9.2) and the tip part (9.3).

The engine (1) in the invention, is located inside the body (8). And reductor (2) is connected to the engine (1) shaft. The first conical gear (3) is placed on the reductor (2) outlet shaft. The first conical gear (3) is connected with the bevel gear (4). The middle shaft (5) is fixed at the bevel gear (4) core. The middle shaft (5) gear motion is in connection with the helix drive gear (6). Helix drive gear (6) is at the both ends of the dough driving helixes (9). Dough driving helixes (9) are separated from each other by the separators (10). At the tip of the bagel shaping mold (14), the elastic tape reel (11), the elastic tape supports (12) and the elastic tape (13) are placed. At the back of the bagel shaping mold (14), the pusher (15) is fixed. And the pusher (15) is located in the crank motion chamber (17). The crank motion chamber (17) shaft is at the crank gearwheel (18) core. The crank gearwheel (18) and the third conical gear (19) are indirectly connected to each other. There's the crank bearing cylinder (20) at both ends of the crank motion chamber (17). The crank gearwheel (18) gear top and the bottom shaft drive gear (23) are connected to each other. The bottom shaft (21) passes through the core of the bottom shaft drive gear (23). At least one cylindrical gear (22) is placed at both two ends of the bottom shaft (21) making it two at least. Cylindrical gears (22) and the gears outside the crank bearing cylinder (20) are connected to each other. Elastic tape reels (11) and springs (26) are connected to each other. And the product line (26) is placed under the dough driving helixes (9) with no contact.

The working principle of the system subject to invention is as follows; the dough is sent to the dough driving helixes (9). These helixes (9) begin to rotate around themselves towards the motion indirectly taken from the engine (1). Helixes (9) send the dough to the dough holding section (9.1) with the screws on them. Then, the bagel shaping mold (14) moves forward by means of the crank motion chamber (17) and applies pressure on the spring press section (9.2). With this pressure, the dough in the dough holding section (9.1) leaves by the tip part (9.3) and begins to pour onto the elastic tapes (13) seated in the pit sections of the bagel shaping mold (14). Then, the bagel shaping mold (14) begins to slowly draw back and in the meantime, the elastic tape (14) moves right and left with the tensile force on the springs (26) and begins to spin the bagel on it. After the dough takes a full hoop shape, it's automatically transferred to the product line (25) and the product line (25) sends the bagel to the regarding system for hot molasses covering.
