Abstract:
A baggage management system having a passenger information management device, a departure location reader terminal, a check-in location reader terminal, and a delivery processing device. When the check-in location reader terminal acquires at least a portion of user management information, arrival information indicating the arrival at the check-in location of an individual (or a group to which the individual belongs) corresponding to the acquired user management information is transmitted to the passenger information management device. When the passenger information management device acquires the arrival information, an instruction is transmitted to the delivery processing device to deliver baggage belonging to the individual (or the group to which the individual belongs) corresponding to the user management information acquired by the check-in location reader terminal to a specific location, a specific person, the individual corresponding to the user management information acquired by the check-in location reader terminal, or the group to which the individual belongs.
